The Wire Shop, Inc. was founded in 1991 to provide wire harness assemblies to one of the largest manufacturers of school and transit buses. Since that time The Wire Shop, Inc. has diversified to become a preferred supplier to many of the leading names in heating and air conditioning, recreational and utility vehicles, telecom, and military applications.

Registration to the quality standards of ISO 9001:2000 was achieved in January 2004. In June of 2006 the company relocated to a newer 60,000 square foot facility to allow for future expansion.
